The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Dr. Mourad Adjal, presided on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, over the ceremony honouring the outstanding achievers among the children of employees of the Energy and Renewable Energies Sector who excelled in the 2026 Baccalaureate Examination. The event was attended by the Secretary-General of the National Federation of Workers of Sonelgaz Group Companies, along with senior officials from the sector’s affiliated institutions.

The ceremony was organised as part of the sector’s commitment to investing in its human capital, promoting a culture of excellence and merit, and encouraging academic achievement as a fundamental pillar for building national competencies capable of keeping pace with the transformations taking place in the sector and contributing to the achievement of the country’s national development goals.

In his address on the occasion, the Minister extended his warmest congratulations to all the outstanding male and female students, expressing his pride in their remarkable achievements, which were made possible through their dedication and perseverance. He also commended the pivotal role played by parents and the educational community in supporting the students and providing the appropriate conditions for their success.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the National Federation of Workers of Sonelgaz Group Companies emphasised that this event has become a well-established tradition reflecting the sector’s commitment to its employees’ families and promoting the values of recognition, hard work and excellence. He also praised the Minister’s continuous support for the social dimension and the development of human resources within the sector.
