As part of monitoring the action plan for electricity production and improving the quality of public service across all provinces, Dr. Mourad Adjal, Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, chaired a meeting today, Sunday, November 9, 2025, with several senior officials from the Sonelgaz Group. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies and attended by key ministry officials, focused on reviewing several important files, notably:

• Monitoring the progress of ongoing electricity production projects.
• Preparations for the summer season of 2026.

During the meeting, Dr. Mourad Adjal emphasized the importance of implementing an effective roadmap aligned with the government’s priorities, which place citizen service and the improvement of public service quality at the forefront. He stressed that listening to citizens’ concerns and addressing them should be the ministry’s primary focus.

The Minister also listened to presentations from Sonelgaz officials and provided a series of directives aimed at accelerating project execution and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
