The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Dr. Mourad Adjal, today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, received a delegation of managing executives from “Holcim Algeria,” an operator in innovative and sustainable construction solutions, headed by Mr. Abdelnour Swakri. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the decarbonization project in cement production operations.
The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Dr. Mourad Adjal, today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, chaired a meeting dedicated to studying the file on enhancing energy and social development in the 11 newly established wilayas under the new administrative division approved by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and preparing the roadmap for this process, particularly regarding strengthening these wilayas with energy facilities that would support their energy supply, improve public service for citizens, and ensure its continuity.
Seeking to expand into European markets and strengthen Algeria’s external cooperation, the Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Dr. Mourad Adjal, today, Thursday, November 20, 2025, received a delegation from the Federal State of Bavaria, Germany, headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy, Mr. Tobias Gutehart. The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, was dedicated to exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnership between Algeria and Bavaria.
The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Dr. Mourad Adjal, paid a working visit to the Province of Djelfa on November, 19th 2025, at the head of a delegation comprising senior executives from his ministerial department, as well as executives from the Sonelgaz Group. During this visit, he conducted a working inspection to assess the level of performance of the sector at the wilaya level. He was received by the Wali of the Wilaya, Mr. Djehid Mous, along with a delegation of representatives of the security services and local authorities.
